Repentance Bench - Redo....Soon!

I love this bench!  I call it the Repentance Bench, being a former 'church pew'...the name fits.  When this bench was welcomed into our home, it was brown.  Not a pretty brown either.  I quickly grabbed my paint and brush and went to work.  I've loved the RED for a couple years now...but I'm thinking it's time to change colors.

Hmmm, need help here!

So, that's were you all come in!  Should I, Shouldn't I?  I need help deciding on a color, if I should!  Or should it stay red? I'm ready to paint, brush in hand.

Medicine Cabinet Redo with Chalkboard Paint

My bathroom was in need a more storage space and I really needed something 'pretty' above our toliet.  I didn't want just any 'ole thing on the wall, I wanted something neat and original.  So what does a gal do when she needs something original...to the local Thrift Store! 

I found this medicine cabinet at my favorite Thrift Store for $5....Lucky Me!  I painted all the edges white and antiqued it with sand paper and black paint.  Then, this is the fun part...I painted the mirror with Chalkboard paint, yep...that's right..Chalkboard paint!  It was so easy and it's a lot of fun to write love notes to my honey!

This project cost me $10, total!  And, I love it!

I don't know anyone who doesn't love a Chalkboard!! Seriously, it's one of those COOL things that calls your name when you're near it. Adults, children, dogs...okay, not dogs...but a lot of people WRITE on Chalkboards. In fact, I have a 3x6 foot chalkboard painted on my kitchen wall. We ALL write on it!!
